Informal
Chat and Activity Day
Saturday
October 25th 2008 Swarkestone Sailing Club
A
bit of feed back from John.
We held our first FAP chat day yesterday where nine
of us representing three families enjoyed a day of chat
and activities on the lake. So it was not a raging success
number wise, but we managed to get lot of chat about
how FAP affected us. It is much better than phone calls.
As well there are times when Mick and I do need to get
together and it was nice to have others there as well.
So we will be doing it again next year although the
timing may be different and we are looking at another
venue.
We will be using Swarkestone Sailing Club again next
March, Saturday 28th for our annual FAP Information
and Family Day. This will be the regular formal day
with two local speakers in the morning and in the afternoon
Kay Neale from St. Mark's Hospital FAP Registry and
also somebody from the "Facilitating Networks"
Project.
