One of the challenges I have faced with living with FAP is not knowing what other people's experience has been like going through it... due to it being so rare. Part of my intention in creating the blog was for me to be able to help others with FAP. My Blog is http://goodbyecolon.weebly.com/

In short I am a 34 year old male with FAP. I was diagnosed with polyps in my colon and duodenum when I was 17. However I was able to avoid a Whipple procedure until 29 years old and a colectomy until I was 33 This was in a large part due to active surveillance and by making lifestyle and dietary changes.

For living with this condition for over 17 years Peter's family is the first family I have heard about that has taken a similar approach to that which I took.
